Grounded Notes is a twice-weekly letter from kinesiologist and functional neuro health practitioner Sinead Kelly. Real tools, honest reflections, and a little nervous system support — straight to your inbox.
Here’s what I’m holding onto lately
This week I caught myself doing that familiar thing.
Holding my breath while I was “being productive.”
Like my body had to earn rest.
So, I stopped.
Hand on belly.
One long exhale.
And I reminded myself:
Safety before change.
If your body has been bracing too, consider this your permission slip to pause for 10 seconds today.
Talk soon,
X, Sinead
P.S. Perfectionism isn’t who you are. It’s your nervous system doing its job. We can teach it a new job.
